BHS Training

At GFE we offer BHS Stable Management Training from Stage One to Stage Four Level and we also run an annual BHS Stable Managers Preparation Course with Islay Auty FBHS.

If you prefer to be trained on a one to one basis, it is possible to receive individual Stable Management training sessions.  An individual training programme would be devised for you, with you to ensure that you cover the exact topics you require.

As we are not a riding school we only offer Stable Management training and unfortunately are unable to provide riding lessons.

Short Courses

During the Spring to Autumn months we run BHS Horse Owners Certificates, these are offered at four different levels of knowledge with regard to the care and management of the horse and are specifically aimed at the first time horse owner, parents of horse owners or potential owners.

You may take all four levels or as many as you desire.

The BHS Horse Owners Certificates are six-week courses with the opportunity to take the exam at the end of the course if you wish.

Lessons

Here at GFE, you can have lessons with your own instructor, our resident instructor and we also run clinics with visiting instructors, all of which are available to Liveries and to the Public.

Alison is available for flatwork or jumping sessions, either individually or in pairs and you can either come to us, or if you are local Alison will come to you.
